Face Time with Erica Lemon

Pingree Grove resident Erica Lemon, 31, was working at the Kane County Forest Preserve District’s Creek Bend Nature Center in St. Charles when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Burlington, Iowa

Pets? A cat named Anakin

First job? My parents were photographers, and I used to carry their equipment on photo shoots.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A photographer. I became a naturalist. Photography is my hobby now.

A book you’d recommend? The series “Wool” by Hugh Howey

Favorite charity? Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago

What game show would you be on? “The Price is Right”

Favorite local restaurant? Rookie’s in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? We went camping at Glacier National Park in Montana. It was 80 degrees when we arrived. It was snowing when we left four days later.
