Where did you grow up? Chillicothe, Ohio
Pets? A cat named Max. He’s a 23-pound Russian blue.
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Meryl Streep
First job? Cleaning chickens and making strawberry pies in a restaurant
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A race car driver. I became an executive director, but it’s kind of the same thing, I keep things moving.
A movie you’d recommend? “Mrs. Doubtfire”
Favorite charity? Anything to do with veterans. And the TriCity Health Partnership, where 115 medical professionals volunteer from doctors and nurses to nurse practitioners. It’s just amazing.
Do you play an instrument? Piano
Favorite local restaurant? The Turf Room in North Aurora
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I serve on the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, and I am treasurer of the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. There are 1,200 free and charitable clinics in the U.S.
