Animal rescue group to host bunco fundraiser

BATAVIA – Homes for Endangered and Lost Pets, an all-volunteer animal-rescue organization, will host its first bunco event  April 25 at Riverview Banquets, 1117 N. Washington Ave., Batavia.  

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will include bunco game-playing, appetizers, a silent auction and a cash bar. Attendees will not need to have played bunco before, as there will be instructions.

Auction items will include Panera Bread for a year; Blue Man Group tickets; Wolves tickets; wine baskets; beauty baskets; health baskets, Paramount Theatre tickets; Zanies tickets; a Chicago skyline tour; Pampered Chef basket; Dove Chocolate basket; dog-supply baskets; and more.

Ticket cost $25 a person, with all proceeds going to Homes for Endangered and Lost Pets.
