Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill celebrates grand opening

Owner Dick Theobald cuts the ribbon at the grand opening ribbon-cutting event at Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill, at 117 N. Main St., Elburn. Others in attendance include Annette Theobald, Elburn Village President Dave Anderson and Elburn Chamber of Commerce officials. Eddie Gaedel Pub is a sports bar in downtown Elburn, named for the shortest player in Major League Baseball history. The pub got its name because of its small size.
