Face Time with Kris Barsanti

Aurora resident Kris Barsanti, 27, was at the Sugar Path Dessert Bakery in Geneva when he answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Aurora

Pets? A beagle named Romper and two black cats named Magic and Mayhem. Magic was born on the 12th; Mayhem was born on Friday the 13th.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Aaron Paul

First job? Pulling weeds at a retirement home

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A firefighter, police officer, professional wrestler, astronaut – it kept changing. I became a diamontologist.

A book you’d recommend? “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card

Favorite charity? The National Alliance on Mental Illness

What game show would you be on? “Wheel of Fortune.” And I was chosen to be on “Wheel of Fortune” later this year. 

Do you speak another language? American Sign Language

Favorite local restaurant? Sugar Path Desserts Bakery in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I was part of a human foosball team that was in the Guinness Book of World Records. ... I was also one of the little bonbons in “The Nutcracker” in Chicago when I was 7.
