Geneva police reports

• John R. Calderaro, 39, of the 1100 block of Geneva Road, St. Charles, was charged Monday, April 7, with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent, driving without a valid driver’s license, and driving without insurance. He received a written warning for disobeying a traffic safety signal.

• Duane H. Cotte, 64, of the 200 block of Sharon Lane, North Aurora, was charged Tuesday, April 8, with driving under the influence, and driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent. He received a written warning for following too closely.

• Five railroad bridge supports were reported vandalized with spray paint on Friday, April 4, at the west side entrance of the bike bridge at the 500 block of South First Street.

• An abandoned factory at 715 Hamilton St. was reported vandalized with spray paint on Tuesday, April 1. 

• Gregory P. Meehan, 27, of the 300 block of Colonial Circle, Geneva, was charged Thursday, April 3, with disorderly conduct.

• Two vacuum cleaners valued at $900 were reported stolen Thursday, April 3, from Bed, Bath and Beyond, 1584 S. Randall Road. According to reports, a shopper walked out carrying the two vacuum cleaners without paying for them.
