Sugar Grove police reports

• Andrew D. Olsen, 24, of the 100 block of Elmwood Drive, Aurora, was charged Thursday, April 10, with speeding, driving with a suspended license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He also was arrested on a River Grove warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence.

• Residents of the 100 block of Maple Street, Sugar Grove, reported Thursday, April 10, that someone attempted to burglarize their detached garage. There were marks on the door near the locks, and whatever the offender or offenders did to attempt entry reportedly damaged a lock.

• Jewel-Osco, 465 Route 47, Sugar Grove, reported Wednesday, April 9, that two male juveniles stole a bottle of liquor and left in a gold minivan. The boys were described as having brown hair. One wore a brown leather jacket, black T-shirt, black pants and gray ski hat while the other wore a gray or silver jacket with black sleeves and black pants.
