Geneva resident Sandy Klimowski, 63, was at the Geneva Public Library for a program when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Chicago

Pets? Two beagles named Sparky and Lily, and two cats named Kernal and Thunder

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Lily Tomlin

First job? Paper girl

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher. I became a secretary instead.

A book you’d recommend? “Same Kind of Different as Me” by Ron Hall and Denver Moore with Lynn Vincent

Favorite charity? Homes for Endangered and Lost Pets

Favorite local restaurant? The Little Owl in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have 400 elephants “running” around my house. I collect elephants.
