Cary resident Steve Paslawsky, 47, was getting ready for a bike ride at Fox River Bluff Dog Park in St. Charles when he answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Beach Park.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Myself.

First job? Washing dishes at a pizza place.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A train engineer. I became a commercial truck salesman.

A movie you’d recommend? “Pulp Fiction.”

Favorite charity? United Way.

What game show would you be on? “Let’s Make a Deal.”

Do you speak another language? I can understand Ukranian.

Favorite local restaurant? Pub 222 in St. Charles.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have ridden 100,000 miles on my bike. I’ve been riding since I was 5.
