• Two front windows of Mill Creek Market, 39W250 Herrington Blvd., Blackberry Township, were reported damaged Tuesday, April 22. It appeared two units were damaged by small projectiles, possibly BB pellets. Damage was estimated at $300 for each window.

• A hit-and-run accident was reported Friday, April 25, at Keslinger and LaFox roads in Blackberry Township. A driver of a Chrysler Sebring told police he was making a left turn from LaFox Road when a white vehicle passed him at a high rate of speed and slammed its brakes, causing him to swerve off the road and into a ditch. About 10 minutes before the officer was informed of the accident, he heard tires screech but no collision from his position at Keslinger Road and Friendship Way. The officer reported seeing a white car pull to the side of the road so the driver could look under the vehicle. Police believe that’s the car that caused the accident.

• A mailbox was reported damaged Saturday, April 26, in the 7N200 block of Stevens Road, St. Charles. Replacement costs were estimated at $150.

• Jason Hesenflow, 42, of the 12400 block of Essington Street, Bolingbrook, was arrested Saturday, April 5, on a contempt of court warrant during a traffic stop at Welter and Fabris roads in Maple Park.
