Geneva police reports
• Kayleigh M. Pilny, 24, of the 100 block of Kansas Street, Geneva, was charged Sunday, April 27, with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.08 percent, and was given two written warnings for driving with an expired registration and illegal transportation of alcohol.
• Matthew S. Scharenbroch, 20, of the 700 block of Parker Court, Geneva, was charged Saturday, April 26, with underage drinking and public intoxication.
• Josue Ortiz, 18, of the 0-99 block of East Circle Drive, Montgomery, was charged Friday, April 18, with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery. According to police reports, he argued with the victim, who was driving, grabbed the wheel and jerked it back and forth. The car went off the road and the victim called 911. According to police reports, Ortiz punched her with a closed fist, grabbed her neck and choked her.
• William J. Taber, 43, whom police said was homeless, was charged Wednesday, April 23, with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and two counts of aggravated assault. According to police reports, Taber was taken by ambulance to Delnor Hospital, 300 S. Randall Road. Tabor became angry when he could not get a ride, according to reports. When he was given discharge papers and a sandwich, he tore the papers and threw the sandwich on floor, then threatened Delnor security personnel with a closed fist as if to strike him, according to police reports.
