Blackberry Creek Elementary School hosts all-school writing assembly

Kindergartner Quinn Rus (center) talks with student-teacher Sarah Thompson at an all-school writing assembly at Blackberry Creek Elementary School. The students were taking part in a writing assembly. Rus is joined by Boone Harley (left) and Jack Long. The all-school assembly featured students sharing one writing sample per grade level. After samples were read, students and staff were allowed to give feedback to the writers. At the end of the event, students were given "sacred writing time," during which they wrote in their notebooks.
