First job? Raking leaves and shoveling snow

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A cowboy. I am a cowboy in spirit, but I research real estate.

A movie or book you’d recommend? “From Here to Eternity” and any book by Jim Harrison

Do you play an instrument? Harmonica

Favorite charity? YMCA

Favorite local restaurant? Chianti’s in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met John Updike in New Orleans two years before he died. We didn’t say much, but we said enough.
