St. Charles woman, 67, charged with prostitution

ST. CHARLES – A 67-year-old St. Charles woman has been charged with prostitution, the third prostitution-related arrest in the city in a two-month period, the St. Charles Police Department announced in a news release.

Sun Hee Gribat, of the 100 block of Lakeside Drive, St. Charles, was charged at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Royal Spa, 504 E. Main St., St. Charles.

According to the release, an undercover officer entered the business and paid for a massage. During the course of the service, the massage therapist offered to perform a sexual act for an additional cash payment, according to the release. The woman was taken into custody.

There were two such arrests last month – at Blue Sky, 1700 Lincoln Highway, suite J, and at H.H. Health Care Therapy, 525 S. Tyler Road, unit O.

According to the release, bond was set at $1,500, and Gribat posted the required $150 for bail. She is due in court at 9 a.m. June 12 at the Kane County Branch Court in St. Charles.
