Los Lobos, Justin Townes Earle to play Two Brothers Summer Festival in June

AURORA – This June, music and brews will come together in a weekendlong celebration of summer during the Two Brothers Brewing Company’s 2014 Two Brothers Summer Festival.

Formerly known as the Two Brothers Hop Juice Festival, the three-day event will take place Friday, June 20, through Sunday, June 22, at Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway Aurora. Festival hours will be 5 to 11 p.m. June 20; noon to 11 p.m. June 21; and noon to 6 p.m. June 22.

Grammy-winning rock group Los Lobos and singer/song-writer Justin Townes Earle will headline the summer music fest.

Earle and Edward David Anderson will perform June 20; Los Lobos, Cornmeal, Autumn Defence, Kwame Bediako and Kevin Presbrey & the Midwest will perform June 21; and Ralph’s World will perform June 22, with a second act that has yet to be announced.

General admission costs $5 on Firday, June 20; $10 on Saturday, June 21; and the Sunday Family Day concerts are free to attend. V.I.P ticket options also are available for $50 on June 20, $82.50 on June 21.

The festival was created to raise money and awareness for a growing list of charities, as well as give back to the local and regional community, states the Two Brothers Brewing Company website. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation, Aurora-based Mutual Ground domestic violence shelter and other local nonprofits.
