Face Time with Lisa Fitzpatrick

Grayslake resident Lisa Fitzpatrick was helping out at her sister Christina Lambert’s garage sale in Geneva when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Libertyville

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Diane Keaton

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A baker. I became a medical records correspondent instead.

A book you’d recommend? “Paris: The Novel” by Edward Rutherfurd

Favorite charity? The Illinois Cochlear Implant Chapter, a nonprofit chapter of the national Hearing Loss Association of America. I had a cochlear implant 15 months ago. I had hearing loss from Ménière’s disease. 

Favorite local restaurant? Josef’s deli in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am the middle child of nine. 

Anything else? When I worked at the Marriott Lincolnshire, I met Jean Stapleton, Ricardo Montalban and Barbara Eden.
