Batavia arts center sets 2014-15 tour season

"Oh What A Night!," a musical revue written by Motown producer and creative consultant George Solomon, will take place at 7:30 p.m. June 20, at Batavia Fine Arts Center in Batavia.

BATAVIA – The Batavia Fine Arts Centre recently announced seven performances to be featured during the 2014-15 season.

The complete touring season dates and featured acts are:

• “The Second City 55th Anniversary Tour” at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13;

• “The Hunts,” a family of seven brothers and sisters, who create harmonies and rhythms, will perform at 2 p.m. Oct. 26;

• “The World of Magic,” a Las Vegas-style event with costumes, choreography and comedy, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22;

2015

• The Harlem Gospel Choir, a world-traveling, singing group from Harlem in New York City, will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 13;

• “Junie B. Jones,” a musical featuring the beloved children’s character, will take place at 10 a.m. April 18;

• “Celebrity Autobiography,” an award-winning New York hit comedy where celebrities read the real autobiographies of other famous stars, will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 30;

• “Oh What A Night!,” a musical revue written by Motown producer and creative consultant George Solomon, will take place at 7:30 p.m. June 20.

Theater-goers can choose to purchase tickets to individual shows or select from a variety of season ticket packages starting at $78.
