Police Reports

Geneva police reports

• Bryce  R. Warner, 27, of the 400 block of West State Street, Sycamore, was charged Sunday, May 18, with driving under the influence, having a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.08 percent and speeding.

• Katherine Rose Slattery, 24, of the 0-10 block of Julie Lane, Riverwoods, was charged Wednesday, May 14, with retail theft of 40 items valued at $131.96 from 5 Below, 1900 S. Randall Road. 

• Stephanie M. Baldyga, 23, and  Robert A. Hanson, 29, both of the 800 block of Ohio Avenue, St. Charles, were charged Sunday, May 17, with public intoxication.

• Items valued at $1,571 were reported stolen Thursday, May 22, from a locker at Millard Refrigerated Services, 2088 Geneva Drive. Items taken were at cellphone valued at $680, headphones valued at $400 and an iPod valued at $371.

• Octavio J. Soto-Arriaga, 39, of the 1600 block of Indiana Street, St. Charles, was charged Tuesday, May 20, with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

• Ten dollars was reported stolen Tuesday, May 20, from a purse left in a car on the 1700 block of Fargo Boulevard.

• A plant and flower pot insert valued at $30 was reported stolen Friday, May 23, from in front of Cocoa Bean, 11 Seventh St. According to police reports, this is the fifth year in a row someone has taken a plant from in front of the restaurant.
