Kane County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Ryan L. Doherty, 20, of the 0S900 block of West Mallory Drive, Geneva, was charged Monday, May 19, with criminal damage to property and possession of marijuana.

• Mendel Plumbing and Heating, 3N600 block of North 17th Street, St. Charles, reported Friday, May 23, that a utility trailer valued between $500 and $1,000 was stolen in the last three weeks.

• River Hills Memorial Park, 1650 S. River St., Batavia Township, reported Friday, May 23, that 25 bronze flower vases were stolen. The vases were about 4 inches wide and 12 inches tall and were each valued at $300, bringing the total loss to $7,500.

• A resident of the 5N100 block of Lilac Avenue, St. Charles, reported Friday, May 23, that her 2008 Ford was taken from the driveway. She told police she was unsure if the vehicle was stolen or repossessed.

• Quinn Matthew Gabnay, 43, of the 42W900 block of Hughes Road, Elburn, was charged Saturday, May 17, with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use. His Dodge Ram reportedly struck a motorcyclist in the 0S700 block of Green Road, Elburn.

• A mailbox in the 39W400 block of Washburn Drive, Geneva, was reportedly damaged Tuesday, May 20, by a passing car.

• L&M Greenhouse, 4N932 Clesen Road, St. Charles, reported Wednesday, May 21, two pressure washers were missing. The business was uncertain if they were taken during a previous burglary.
