SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Corn Boil Committee has announced the band lineup for the festival, which is set for Friday, July 25, through Sunday, July 27, at 61 Main St., Sugar Grove.
According to a news release, on opening night, July 25, the Duke Band performs at 6 p.m., followed by Red Woody at 7:30 p.m. and Libido Funk Circus at 9:30 p.m.
Libido Funk Circus will be the opening-night headliner. The release notes that the group plays disco hits as well as its "nonstop energy, showmanship and exquisite musicality." Its website is www.lfcentertainment.com. The group also is to perform at 8 p.m. June 19 at Swedish Days in Geneva, according to the band's website.
On July 26, Generations will perform at 3:30 p.m., followed by Humphrey and McKeown at 5 p.m., Rockstar Rodeo at 6:30 p.m. and Lounge Puppets at 8:30 p.m.
Lounge Puppets will be the July 26 headliner. The release notes that the group is a "rock powerhouse" that "is a force to be reckoned with." Its website is www.loungepuppets.com.
On July 27, 4th Point will perform at 1:30 p.m., followed by Citizen Way at 3 p.m. and Mikeschair at 4 p.m.
Mikeschair will headline the final day of the festival, which traditionally has brought in contemporary Christian performers. Its website is www.mikeschair.com. The group's summer tour also includes stops in Ohio, Iowa, Kentucky, and, notably, exactly one month before the Corn Boil show at a different Sugar Grove – in Virginia.
