TriCity Family Services to offer anxiety workshop

GENEVA – TriCity Family Services in Geneva will help young adults overcome struggles with anxiety in a workshop beginning Monday, June 23.

The nonprofit organization will offer its “Thinking Good, Feeling Great” anxiety workshop for young adults ages 18 to 30 years old through Aug. 4 (no group on July 28). Each Monday, the session will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the TriCity Family Services office, 1120 Randall Court, Geneva.

Throughout the course of the workshop, participants will learn effective cognitive tools to reduce feelings of worry and anxiety. Members of the licensed clinical staff of TriCity Family Services will facilitate the workshop.

The workshop includes a free assessment prior to admittance to the group, and the group sessions may be covered by insurance.

As with all TriCity Family Services programs, fee reductions are available based on need.

For those interested in enrolling in Thinking Good, Feeling Great, call the TriCity Family Services office at 630-232-1070.
