Where did you grow up? In the Zion-Winthrop Harbor area

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Lucille Ball

First job? Car hop

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, and I taught second and fourth grade in Libertyville.

A book you’d recommend? “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett

Favorite charity? American Cancer Society

What game show would you be on? “Wheel of Fortune”

Favorite local restaurant? Rookies in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am a 25-year breast cancer survivor. I had surgery on Aug. 18, 1988, on my anniversary and I have been cancer-free ever since.
