• A Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet was reported stolen Tuesday, June 17, from an unlocked vehicle in the 4N900 block of Meredith Road, Maple Park. The owner told police the tablet was in the car to charge.

• A resident of Greenfield's of Geneva, 0N800 block of Friendship Way, Geneva, reported Wednesday, June 18, a theft of $440.

• A mailbox was reported damaged Wednesday, June 18, in the 38W000 block of Oak Drive, St. Charles. It appeared the mailbox had been pulled from the ground and run over, police reported.

• The owner of a 2009 Hyundai told police Wednesday, June 18, that the vehicle was scratched and dented while at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles Township, on Friday, May 23.

• Dustin L. Tanner, 28, of the 200 block of North Crystal Street, Elgin, was charged Friday, June 20, with harassment by electronic communication.

• A vehicle in the 34W600 block of Elm Court, St. Charles, was reported damaged Saturday, June 21.

• A debit card belonging to a resident of the 1N200 block of Denali Road, Elburn, was reported Wednesday, June 18, to have been used fraudulently. The unauthorized transactions reportedly totaled $1,208.79.

• Four bags of tools with an estimated value of $4,000 were reported stolen Friday, June 20, from the 2S700 block of Lorang Road, Elburn.

• A $325, 4-foot tall wooden bear carving was reported stolen Thursday, June 12, from the 38W000 block of Oak Drive, St. Charles.

• Two windows and a window screen were reported damaged Wednesday, June 18, at Lily Lake Elementary School, 5N720 Route 47, Campton Township. Damage was estimated at $100.
