Letter: A response to ‘war mongers’ letter

To the Editor:

A response to the "Republican war mongers" letter to the editor (June 24, 2014; Kane County Chronicle).

WMDs in Iraq – my guess is they were moved to Syria and used in the last year. We gave Iraq a ton of time to move them, and I think they did.

Immigration reform is not necessary. Why create new laws when the ones on the books are not being followed?

Change the automatic citizenship for children born from foreign parents being able to become U.S. citizens. Then the Democrats complain how bad it is the parents are sent back, and the child is left here. If we don't allow them automatic citizenship, maybe the parents will stay home.

Minimum wage is a minimum wage for people starting out. You are supposed to increase your skills and get promoted.

We need school reform, so that the children are really learning something – ABCs and job skills.
