Ice cream, Mr. Freeze at Geneva library's ice cream social

GENEVA – The Geneva Public Library's annual ice cream social will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.

The event is held outdoors on Second Street, north of James Street. Mr. Freeze of Fermilab will demonstrate cryogenics, using liquid nitrogen. Participants can enjoy Dippin' Dots, an ice cream treat made by cryogenics.

No registration is required. In the case of rain, the event will be rescheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16. For information, call 630-232-0780 or visit www.gpld.org.
