St. Charles VFW will help retire worn, tattered flags

ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles VFW Post 5036 says those with worn or tattered flags can drop them off to be retired at 311 N. Second St., suite 107, St. Charles. Call 630-742-9301 or 630-779-4391 for information.

Also, the Veteran Affairs medical van will be at the location from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month for a free exam and to have questions answered. Coffee and doughnuts will be invluded. Also, the VFW has meetings at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each months. Dinner is included. And all veterans are invited for coffee and doughnuts from 7 to 9 a.m. each Saturday.
