St. Charles Park District’s Otter Cove Aquatic Park and Swanson Pool offer special events for you to cool off all summer.

Sundays in July at Otter Cove Aquatic Park, 3615 Campton Hills Road, are Dip-n-Dances from 11am to 2pm. Bring your family and friends in for a “Splish Splash Bash.” A DJ will play an assortment of music for the whole family to enjoy. Enjoy dancing, swimming, games, contests, races and prizes.

For those 21 and over, Social Night from 8pm to 10pm on July 12 offers an opportunity to enjoy the pool’s amenities under the summer night sky.

Otter Cove Aquatic Park will host its Flick-n-Float event at 7:30pm, featuring “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.” The Radio Disney Road Crew will make a special appearance before the movie begins at 8:45pm. Enjoy the film while floating in the pool.

Swanson Pool, located in Pottawatomie Park at 8 North Avenue, offers several Raft Nights throughout July and August. Bring your favorite inflatables for some wet and wild fun from 6:30 to 8:30pm on select days.

DJ Night is another favorite at Swanson Pool. Scheduled on Tuesday nights from July 1-22, enjoy DJ entertainment until 9pm. These events also feature games like ping pong scramble, splash contests, ring drops, noodle races and more, with prizes.

Christmas in July celebrations, held at both Otter Cove and Swanson Pool on July 25 feature prizes and games all day, plus a visit from Santa Claus. Santa will visit Otter Cove at noon and Swanson Pool at 2pm.
