To the Editor:
It is vitally important that all voters who have elected people to the Illinois Legislature aggressively apply pressure on them continually to spend the majority of their legislative time being a legislator and not a campaigner.
Our elected officials must understand there are only two or three terms to get serious and desperately needed legislation enacted, and they better get it done – or get out.
This state has deteriorated into a bankrupt, dysfunctional and corrupt entity that panders to special interest groups and spends copious amounts of time and the people's money on devious ways to line their pockets and the special interests’ pockets they serve.
Remember: “Serve the people or get out!”
