Quilt and Textile Show in Batavia to also feature Route 66 exhibit

BATAVIA – Visitors at the Batavia Depot Museum’s eighth annual Quilt and Textile Show will have an opportunity to view a traveling exhibit that features a depiction of the historical Route 66.

The exhibit is appropriately 66 feet long and features nearly 50 pieces spanning from California to Illinois. Information about the exhibit can be found at www.jukeboxquilts.com.

The show will be held Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 20, at the Eastside Community Center and Shannon Hall, 14 N. Van Buren St., Batavia.

Show hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 18, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20.

Admission to the show is $6 for the general public, $5 for seniors 60 and older, and free for children 10 and younger.
