Windmill Whirl 5K to be part of Batavia festival

BATAVIA – The Windmill Whirl 5K is set for 7 p.m. Friday, July 11, as part of the annual Windmill City Festival. This race provides chip-timing, and awards will be given to the three overall males and females and the top three runners in each age division.

Children younger than 8 will receive a $10 discount. The first 100 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt and a goodie bag. The fee is $25 by Thursday, July 10, or $30 on race day. Registration and checkin for chip pickup with be on the south side of the government center, 100 S. Island Ave., Batavia. Strollers, dogs and bicycles are not allowed during the race.
