Face Time With Mark Altmayer

Geneva resident Mark Altmayer, 47, just finished a seven-mile run at the Great Western Trail Horlock Hill Prairie in St. Charles when he answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Mt. Prospect

Who would play you in the movie of your life? My twin brother

First job? Luke’s Italian Beef in Arlington Heights

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an athlete. I became a CPA.

A movie you’d recommend? “Rudy”

Favorite charity?American Cancer Society

Do you play an instrument? I have three pianos. I dabble.

Favorite local restaurant?Geneva Ale House in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am one of six brothers. My twin is the youngest. I’m the older twin. For 30 years, my mother told us we were identical – then she told us we were fraternal. She told us we were identical so she could dress us alike.
