CASA Kane County to host fall conference Sept. 12

ST. CHARLES – CASA Kane County will host its annual fall conference on Friday, Sept. 12, at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles.

The topic is “Child Abuse and the Brain: The Developmental Impact of Trauma in Childhood,” with Frank Kros of the Upside Down Organization.

The cost is $50, which includes the full-day seminar, continental breakfast and lunch. Kros is a career child advocate who has served as a childcare worker, child abuse investigator, children’s home administrator, consultant, college professor, attorney, writer and speaker.
