ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles Park District will host its annual Big Truck Show from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 9, at James O. Breen Community Park, located at the intersection of Campton Hills and Peck roads in St. Charles.

The Big Truck Show provides a rare chance to view the inner workings of trucks, cars, and tractors that are usually only viewed from a distance, and visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras. Garbage trucks, front-end loaders, tractors, police squad cars and fire trucks will be among the many vehicles on display. Representatives will be on hand to offer “tours” and answer questions about each piece of equipment.

Those who have a vehicle they would like to display in this year’s show should contact Cheryl Riley at 630-513-4331 or criley@stcparks.org. Admission to the show is free.

Visitors are encouraged to use the parking lot entrance located off of Peck Road.
