Face Time with Kay Eck

Wheaton resident Kay Eck, 54, was working at her yoga studio, Shine, in Batavia when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Eoin Cottrell. 

Where did you grow up? Elmhurst.

What was your first job? I taught gymnastics when I was 15. 

What game show would you be on? “Family Feud.”

If you could travel to another country where would you go? Iceland.

Favorite movie? “The Philadelphia Story.” 

Favorite local restaurant? Bien Trucha in Geneva.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I studied the Indonesian language in college. 

Are you reading a book right now? “Beautiful Ruins” by Jess Walter.

Do you follow any sports? I am a bit of a soccer fan and usually attend one or two Chicago Fire games per season. 

Who did you support in the World Cup? The United States.
