Elburn police reports

• Michael W. Brancecum Jr., 25, of the 800 block of Lakewood Avenue, DeKalb, was arrested Sunday, July 20, on a DuPage County warrant for failing to appear in court on traffic charges.

• Residents of the 200 block of Conley Drive, Elburn, reported Friday, July 18, that their checking account had an unauthorized withdrawal of $4,000 from a transaction in Minnesota. They did not know how the information was obtained and told police they hadn’t been in that area.

• A resident of the 200 block of Read Street, Elburn, reported Thursday, July 17, that someone drove through his backyard and removed a section of the fence belonging to a property in the 300 block of West Shannon Street. He told police he wanted the fence repaired.

• A resident of the 1000 block of Veterans Avenue, Elburn, reported Monday, July 14, that she got an electric bill from Reliant Energy on May 21 for $1,479.79. The account was reportedly opened with her Social Security number for a house in Lancaster, Texas, but was under another woman’s name. The account was opened on Dec. 11, 2013, and closed on April 9, 2014.

• David C. Dainko, 19, of the 700 block of Samantha Circle, Geneva, was charged Saturday, July 5, with underage possession of alcohol.

• Hector Manuel Cervantes, 39, of the 0-100 block of Wilcox Avenue, Elgin, was arrested Saturday, July 12, on a Kendall County warrant for failing to appear in court on a driving under the influence charge. He was also ticketed with using a cellphone without a hands-free device.

• Michelle Lynne Wagenknecht, 41, of the 900 block of Liberty Street, Elburn, was arrested Monday, June 30, on a Whiteside County warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of speeding.
