Campton Hills to host National Night Out on Aug. 5

CAMPTON HILLS – The village's eighth annual National Night Out is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, on School Street off of Route 64 in Campton Hills.

More than 25 organizations and local businesses are set to participate. Features will include activities for children and families; demonstrations by search-and-rescue mounted rangers and K-9 units; and opportunities to meet local officials and to learn how to prepare for emergencies.

Free snacks and food samples will be available, and some food will be available for purchase.
