Porky Picnic to take place Aug. 9 in Aurora

AURORA – Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen is inviting family and friends to attend the 20th annual Porky Picnic.

Attendees will be able to enjoy barbecue, kids games, a trackless train ride, raffles, a silent auction and more.

The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Vaughan Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail, Aurora.

Cost is $30 a person, $50 for couples and $75 for families. There also are event sponsorship opportunities available, with checks being made out to "Friends for Lauzen."
