The Kane County Magazine, a sister publication of the Kane County Chronicle, will host a program titled “The Art of Balance: Real World Strategies to Live the Life YOU Love” on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Eagle Brook Country Club, 2288 Fargo Blvd., in Geneva.

Part of the Women’s Power Luncheon Series hosted by Shaw Media, the event is designed to inform, inspire and engage aspiring businesswomen, decision-makers and leaders on contemporary business and life topics.

The event will start at 11:30 a.m. with a lunch and program presentation. In addition, a related workshop will follow from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

“Is it possible to have it all?” asks the flier for the presentation. “Women have unlimited opportunities today. We can become dazed by all the choices and towering expectations that face us daily. How do we balance it all?”

The keynote speaker for the event will be Kathleen Caldwell, president of Caldwell Consulting Group and founder of the WHEE – or Wealthy, Healthy, Energetic Edge – Institute.

Panelists will include Gloria Bunce, executive director of CASA Kane County; Maureen McAllister, president of McAllister Consulting; Jackie Camacho-Ruiz, director of JJR Marketing; Mary K. O’Brien, CEO of the Fox Valley Orthopaedic Institute; and Kristine Kowalski, vice president of marketing for KCT Credit Union.

I will be the moderator for the panel portion of the program.
