Where did you grow up? Benson, Minnesota

Pets? A Jack Russell terrier named Guinness

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Tom Hanks

First job? Baling hay

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? An airplane pilot. I design software for product inventory.

A movie you’d recommend? “Munger Road”

Favorite charity? Lazarus House

Do you play an instrument? Piano

Do you have children? Three children

What game show would you be on? “Price is Right”

Favorite local restaurant? Los Burritos Mexicanos in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I was the producer for a film, “Munger Road,” which my son Nicholas Smith wrote and directed.
