Work on Keslinger Road to begin Monday

Published: Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014 11:41 a.m. CST

Starting the week of Monday, Aug. 11, milling and paving on Keslinger Road will begin, the Kane County Division of Transportation has announced.

Construction work hours will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. The work will take place on Keslinger Road, from Brundige Road to Randall Road. It will include the removal of existing pavement for the new surface course to be placed, and then the placement of an asphalt layer over an oil application to provide a new smooth riding surface.

Temporary daily lane closures Monday through Saturday will be required to accomplish the work. Drivers are urged to watch for fresh oil signs and flaggers and to reduce speed while traveling through the construction zone. For information, call 630-816-9671.
