Police Reports

Batavia police reports

• Graffiti was reported Thursday, Aug. 7, on a city of Batavia electric box on the Batavia Riverwalk in the 100 block of Shumway Avenue and on a bridge rail in the 100 block of North Island Avenue. Damage was estimated at $100 to the electric box and $100 in damage to the bridge rail.

• A vehicle was scratched Tuesday, Aug. 5, while parked at Sears Appliance and Hardware, 3 North Randall Road.

• A bicycle was reported taken Wednesday, Aug. 6, from the rear of Funway, 1335 S. River St.

• Graffiti was reported Sunday, Aug. 3, on a picnic table and grill in Prairie Lathem Park, 500 Lathem St.

• A bicycle was reported taken Sunday, Aug. 3, from Chick-Fil-A, 185 N. Randall Road.

• Matthew M. Obrochta, 37, of the 300 block of Davis Road, Batavia, was charged Saturday, Aug. 2, with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a stop sign.

• Graffiti was reported Friday, Aug. 1, on the dental office of Patrick H. Garvin, 101 N. Lincoln St.
