Face Time with Vicki Berzynski

West Chicago resident Vicki Berzynski, 49, was volunteering at the Rover Rescue garage sale in North Aurora when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Melrose Park

Pets? Two cats, Blossom and Sasha, and a guinea pig named Snickers. And I'm fostering a dog named Serenity, a basset and Lab mix.

First job? Holiday Inn housekeeping

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian. I became a project coordinator.

A book you'd recommend? "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Brontë

Favorite charity? Rover Rescue

What game show would you be on? "Wheel of Fortune"

Favorite local restaurant? Run-A-Way Restaurant in North Aurora

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I've been on six cruises. I've been on cruises to the Bahamas, Puerto Vallarta and Canada.
