Rotary Club of Batavia plans Corvette raffle

BATAVIA – The Rotary Club of Batavia has planned its 26th annual Corvette raffle. No more than 1,000 tickets will be available, with the prize being a 2015 Corvette or $40,000 cash.

The Corvette is supplied by Bob Jass Chevrolet in Elburn. The raffle is set for Saturday, Nov. 22. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.bataviarotarycharities.com. Tickets cost $100. There also will be cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000, $500, $300 and $200 avaialble.

According to a news release, the club contributes more than $40,000 annually to support efforts of agencies such as the Batavia Fireworks Foundation and Batavia Food Pantry, as well as purchasing digital X-ray equipment in Guatemala.
