St. Charles North drill team plans car wash

ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles North drill team is hosting a car wash from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at McDowell Remodeling, 521 W. Main St., St. Charles.

Proceeds will go toward the Kick-A-Thon, an annual fundraiser that is coordinated by the St. Charles North and St. Charles East drill teams to raise money for the American Cancer Society, the LivingWell Cancer Center, and new this year, Fox Valley Food for Health.

The cost for cars is $6, and vans and trucks will be $10. Tips are accepted and will also be donated to the cause. For information, visit
