Campton Hills police reports

• Occupants of a house in the 6N100 block of Brierwood Drive, Campton Hills, were reportedly awakened at about 1 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, by a loud banging noise coming from the basement. Two windows were reportedly smashed. A garage window had also been broken Saturday, Aug. 9, and their mailbox and post were damaged a week earlier.

• The brass letters “F” and “X” were reported stolen Tuesday, Aug. 12, from the Fox Mill monument sign at Route 64 and Fox Mill Boulevard in Campton Hills. Each letter has an estimated value of $350.
