CASA Kane County seeks to boost Facebook 'likes'

GENEVA – CASA Kane County has started an initiative to increase its Facebook “likes” to help increase awareness of the organization and assist in the recruitment of new volunteers, according to a news release issued by the organization.

The organization will use Facebook to interact with supporters by telling stories, giving facts and quotes, and ultimately reach out to new individuals as well, according to the release.

There are three main ways for someone to connect to CASA Kane County: volunteer, donate and connect.

CASA Kane County is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system, the release stated. Last year, the agency’s 242 active volunteers served 552 children throughout Kane County.
