Do you have children? Two 

First job? At Scheffler's Flower Shop in Winfield

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A secretary. By senior year of high school, I wanted to became a teacher and I did. I teach sixth-grade math.

A book you'd recommend? "Old Dogs and Children" by Robert Inman and "Tuck Everlasting" by Natalie Babbit

What game show would you be on? "Deal or No Deal"

Favorite charity?Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago

Favorite local restaurant? Tap House Grill in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I played basketball with Michael Jordan at a basketball clinic when I was 17.
