ELGIN – U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, R-Winfield, will host a Community Leadership Forum on health care from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Elgin Community College.
The event will bring together a diverse group of high-caliber community stakeholders to address today’s challenges to the health care system and provide important information for health consumers in the 14th District, states a news release from Hultgren's office. As part of the all-day forum, three panels of health care stakeholders will address top issues facing health consumers today. Topics will include the "Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Consumer: 2015 and Beyond;" "Health Care Innovations: Technology In Medicine;" and "Health Care Innovations: Access to Health Care."
