Why have you decided to run for election/reelection in the Elburn trustee race?

It is time for me use my experience to help support the community where we chose to raise our family.

What project most needs to be completed in Elburn? And how would you work to ensure the project is actually finished and done well?

Stormwater collection is an area that is in need of a solid plan, and I would use my Civil Engineering and stormwater experience to help see it in the right direction.

What types of businesses would you like to see more of in Elburn? How could you help attract these businesses to town?

We could sustain many different types of business in Elburn, but I would love to see more casual dining options and would discuss incentive options with the board to help attract them to an area where they could flourish.

How can you work to ensure the Elburn Station development moves forward as smooth as possible?

Through my knowledge and experience with Civil Engineering and Construction, I will be able to provide educated feedback to the other board members and understanding of how these projects are completed.

What experience and/or strengths would you bring to the board if elected/re-elected?

If elected I would bring a combination of 17 years’ experience working in the Public and Private sectors. I have a strong civil engineering background and was the “Responsible Operator In Charge” on file with the IEPA for multiple Water and Wastewater facilities in Kane County.  I’ve spent the last five years in public works working in Water and Wastewater. As a Division Manager, I am responsible for budgeting, engineering plan review, writing bid specs, coordinating contracted projects, maintaining vehicles, and several buildings. I communicate with residents on a daily basis to ensure exceptional customer service and to provide a positive image.

What differentiates you from the other candidate(s) running for this seat?

The relevant experience I will bring, along with my desire to serve the community.

Outside of politics, what are some of your other interests?

Spending time with family and attending sporting events.

Why should people vote for you in this race?

Residents should vote for me since I only want to do what is best for the community and utilize my experiences to help guide the village making those decisions.
