North Aurora resident Bill Brauer, 51, was at an Elburn Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting at the Community Congregational Church when he answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Tom Laue.

Laue: Where were you born?

Brauer: Kankakee.

Laue: What is your job?

Brauer: I’m a business development officer at First Midwest Bank of Elburn. I’ve worked here 15 years.

Laue: Favorite place you’ve visited?

Brauer: Visiting in and around Paris was pretty cool.

Laue: Favorite pro team?

Brauer: I like all Chicago hometown teams.

Laue: Hobbies?

Brauer: Drumming, movies, concerts, golf.

Laue: Favorite restaurant?

Brauer: Lodi Tap House in Maple Park.
